More good news from West Oz as Futures team dominates the State titles:
On the weekend was round 2 out of 3 State open titles at Geraldton, North West Oz
Jake Farcett won the Open division and the pro junior using AM1 blackstix with Jerome Forrest coming second in both the Open and Pro junior using the F4 Blackstix. Brett Hardy, last years state champ placed third using the F4 RTM hex
Great result for Jake who celebrated his 17th birthday on the weekend and then showed the big kids how it was done.
Young Futures team rider Shaun Green (13) had a good crack at the pro juniors(U/21) placing 3rd. He posted the highest wave score of the event, 9.67.
Booom! 1, 2, and 3 in the Open and Pro Junior!
Ian "Wooly" MaCpherson, the co-owner of Star Surf & Skate, our biggest account in West Oz took me down in the old boys 0/35. Wooly was using the JC RTM Hex while I was running with the YU's. I also placed 2nd in the 0/28's
